My EPIC LIGIT Daily Blog!

Day 1: Monday

    Today is Day 1, the day at iteens began at 10:10 am, where twenty of us gathered together in a circle. We introduced ourselves to eachother and stated our favourite food. Mine was bubble tea. Before lunch, we had a small activity where we took a star shaped shape, pressed it into a slice of bread and decorated our star.  For lunch, we had spagetti outside with chips and cola candy. We also went to Rocky Point to play kick ball, both the teams ended with scores of twelve. We played rock, paper, scissors to decided who the winner would be. However, we lost on the final round of rock, paper, scissors. We walked back to the iteens camp place and continued working on our blogs and websites. Next we sang some songs along with actions. Finally, we talked about what we would be doing the next day (make videos) :)))))))))))))))))))))).

Day 2: Tuesday 

    Another new day means another day of iteens camp! We started the day by playing a few rounds of Justun's mysterious mind reading games. Before lunch, we sang some songs with actions while, the leaders played the guitars and danced on the platform. For lunch, we had Sloppy Joes, BBQ chips, sour keys, apple juice, and watermelon for dessert! >_< We also did some group research on Ghandi, a famous movers and shakers. After the research, we picked a theme and had to do a short play relating the topic with Ghandi. Our topic was "Transformers". In the end I was the narrator, Ricky was "Optimus Ghandi, Erika and Jacksun were the "bad guys" a.k.a. the decepticons, and Darren was the human. For our video, "SAYF" split into two groups and each did our own video. I paired up with Erika, while Ricky, Darren and Jacksun grouped up together. Both our groups had trouble deciding on what their film would be about, but in the end we all had awesome ideas. Eventually, Erika and I made a video of "How to Introduce Yourself in Ten Languages". The other group made a video on a video game called: "Super Smash Brawl". For the last activity, we walked to Rocky Point and did a "Photohunt". We were given a list of pictures to be taken like "a picture with the whole group jumping in the air" and so on. Before we walked back to the iteens camp, we played Octopus which was a lot of fun. Overall, it was an SUPER AWESOME day at iteens!

Day 3: Wednesday

    Today = day three at iteens camp! :) We learnt a new song, with new actions in the morning. We also listened to a story about a man called Jacob and how he had wanted to marry a woman called Rachel, but had to work a total of twenty years on the farm just to marry her. For lunch, we had pizza and watermelon. Once again, the watermelon was SUPER sweet. Once again, we played some mind games that were super fun. We also played a new game that required a LOT of patience! We used tape and wrote down the number pad you would normally see on a cell phone. The point of the game was too guess what the four digit code was. If you stepped on the right number, one of the leaders would go "DINGGGG!", if you got it wrong, then he or she would go "EEER!" Here's a puzzle for you, what's : "CHIMADENA"? "MADE IN CHINA!!!!" that was one of Fueng's puzzles. Just like the last two days, we went to Rocky Point Park! There, we played skip rope, an hoola hoop! You're probably thinking right now that it was super easy, but there's a trick to it! :) Not only did we have to do the hoola hoop, we also had to catch a marshmallow with our mouths! For skip rope, it wasn't just any skip rope, it was a SUPER long jump rope! Also, we had to jump inside the jump rope, while it was turning! After we returned to the iteens camp place, we worked on our blogs and did more puzzles! Finally, just before it was time to go.... WE GOT OUR T-SHIRTS!!!!!!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDD

Day 4: Thursday

    Everyone wore their new iteens t-shirt to camp today! :D In the morning, we sang some songs just like always and listened to a story from the Bible. The story was about how Jeus was being tempted to do something while he was in the desert, Jeus was tempted to do three things; turn stone into bread, own all the splendors of all the kingdoms of the world and jump off a high building to prove that he was God's son. While Jeus was in the desert, he had no food and drink for forty days and forty nights. For lunch, we had egg salad sandwiches and ham and cheese sandwiches. As we normally ate lunch outside of the iteens camp under a tent, we went to Rocky Point Park for lunch today. After lunch, we started filming our music videos, and recording our voices for the music. The first song that we did the actions for was "One Way", then we walked back to the iteens scamp and recorded our voices for the songs, "One Way" and "Today Is The Day". THEN, we walked back to Rocky Point Park's beach and did the actions for "Today Is The Day". When we filmed the actions for the second song, we had to stand on rocks by the beach. :) The shore by the water was filled with tiny crabs that lived there, but the worse thing was probably the mud.... T_T  It would stick onto your shoes until you cleaned it up with the damp grass at the field!!!!!!! Before we left Rocky Point Park to go back to the iteens camp, we spent some time playing "Toilet Tag" at the field. Next, we went to the park which was next to the WATER park and played tag. When we walked back to iteens camp, we were all exhausted and tired. Oh, and we also did a craft that looked like a pyramid that said: "Don't Forget To Pray". The pyramid craft had frogs on it....  Today was the second last day of iteens camp, it's almost over which means that summer too is almost over.... :((((

Day 5: Friday

    Today is the very LAST day of iteens camp!!!!! :(((( So once again, we sang songs! Today, we also learnt a new song called: "We Are C"! For lunch, we had JAPA DOGS!!! We also had sourkeys, and chips!!! :DDDDDDDDDD Then we went to Rocky Point Park to play scavenger hunt!!!! SAYF came in second place.... While we were waiting, we started playing jump rope and volleyball....:)  When we got back to the iteens camp, we had freezies then wrote on our blogs. Finally, the parents came in and watched our music videos, and checked out our websites!!! :) BEST WEEK EVER!!!!!  :DDDDDDDDDDDDD
